
Kaya Mindlin, CSYT, RYT 500, Registered Yoga Therapist with IAYT, began her exploration of ancient eastern traditions in 1998 and has been teaching since 2001. With over a decade of teaching experience and thousands of hours training, she is among the most highly experienced Therapeutic Yoga teachers in the country. (Scroll down to see certifications).
She regularly teaches yoga in Sacramento and Berkeley, and also travels to locations on the East Coast to work with yoga students and teachers.
Kaya's yoga classes bring personalized attention to each individual, knowledge of anatomy and ancient texts, and humor that elicits the joy of yoga. Her skill lies in a capacity to teach spontaneously according to the student and to clearly explain complex concepts. She also offers Ayurvedic consultations and classes and works with her husband, Michael Manzella, to work with clients via jyotish, vaastu, and yoga philosophy. Kaya continues her personal studies with illuminating teachers in the Advaita Vedanta tradition - including Swami Dayananda Saraswati and Swami Tattvavidananda
