Over the years, I have given financial aid to individuals who have displayed a deep commitment to yoga but expressed a financial barrier to doing more yoga.  This page is to make giving fair & open to all. To apply, please see that you meet the criteria for one of the two categories below & then copy and paste the questionnaire into an email, fill in your responses and mail to yogawithkaya@gmail.com.  I ask that individuals do not take advantage of this offer, and consider the ethics at play - as it is, I keep my prices very low (compared to others with a similar level of training). Please look objectively at your actual financial circumstance.

Criteria for Financial Aid

• Your total household income is less than $30,000
• You currently attend at least one regular yoga class per week

• You are a Svaroopa Yoga Teacher in training or a practitioner of another healing or therapeutic modality related to the body-mind (eg. yoga, pilates, somatic therapy, etc)
• Your total household income is less than $50,000
• You currently attend at least one regular yoga class per week

1. Are you interested in a Commitment Scholarship or Financial Aid?
2. For what service (yoga therapy, classes, ayurveda, workshop) you would like to receive financial aid?
3. Please explain in a brief paragraph your current financial circumstance, including your total household income and the reasons why you feel you should receive financial aid or scholarship?

Join me in making it possible for a teacher-in-training or someone in need to benefit from yoga! You can make a donation to the scholarship & financial aid fund. Choose to donate any amount of your choosing, or you can donate for a specific item (see below).  

Your gift will ONLY be used to support students and clients receiving financial aid or scholarships. Your gift will be acknowledged in my monthly newsletter (unless you prefer to remain anonymous).  The recipients are not told from whom their particular scholarship / financial aid comes.
