Ayurveda

Ayurveda the ancient healing system of India, born out of the Vedic tradition, which is dated at 10,000 years old, but is ultimately considered timeless.  Ayurveda is made of two words: ayu = longevity or life, and veda = knowledge or wisdom… thus, Ayurveda is the wisdom of longevity.

Ayurveda allows one to develop deep understanding of his or her own unique nature and how to navigate through the process of healing accordingly with person-specific diet, herbs and lifestyle.  Through holistic means, Ayurveda offers a path to life-long balance and health that takes into consideration your age, environment, career, personality, spiritual tendencies, familial life and physical constitution.

Ayurveda is for everyone, because it is a system that deepens your relationship with nature, so that you sync yourself with the rhythms of life.  It’s the handbook to your body that you should have gotten as a child, but didn't.   Ayurveda makes you more resliant & more tuned in, by giving you the tools you need to ride the waves of life, like an elegant surfer, rather than get knocked out and washed ashore.  Rather than a cookie-cutter symptom-based approach, Ayurveda finds and treats the specific underlying causes of imbalance, whether the cause is dietary, emotional, hormonal, genetic, astrological or karmic.  Learn to spontaneously make appropriate choices according to the season, the time of life, and the particular circumstances they face from one day to the next.
